Job Description

12 Month contract
Would suit someone that has been involved in Leasing of Vehicles/Equipment. SAP is desirable
 
The role is to grow and proactively promote and develop the Short Term Rental (STR) customer base to increase STR and Used Equipment (UE) revenue within this International Manufacuring Company and coordinate and administer the processing of UE sales and Short Term Rentals whilst striving to meet internal and external customer needs in an efficient, professional and pleasant way.
Key Responsibilities
 
  • Administering and coordinating Used Equipment sales and Short Term Rentals effectively, accurately and efficiently as per defined Company procedures
  • Processing of Scrap sales as per defined Company procedures
  • Managing UE sales processes from point of order acknowledgement through to delivery 
  • Using initiative to follow up with salespeople and/or customers to ensure timely deliveries
  • Communicating effectively with internal and external customers
  • Building positive working relationships with customers and colleagues 
  • Negotiating STR prices with customers in accordance with defined Company limits/parameters
  • Maintaining a database of UE & STR customers and prospects
  • Keeping the UE website up to date with current stock
  • Creating and delivering marketing campaigns
  • Consistently delivering against targets set to achieve revenue and profit margin targets for UE & STR sales
  • Maintaining regular contact with existing, new and historic customers, up-selling Linde products and services as well as following up lost UE & STR sales 
  • Screening customers for credit worthiness and resolving credit control issues in a prompt and efficient manner
  • Continuously looking for and reporting opportunities to improve revenues, utilisation, stock levels, process effectiveness and efficiency
  • Carrying out stocktaking activities as necessary
  • Providing cover for colleagues as necessary
  • Taking on any additional duties as required by the UE & STR Team Leader to ensure efficient running of the department
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role previously. You will be self-motivated, have the ability to work on your own initiative to achieve results and have the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Your IT skills will include a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, and Excel.
