Would you like to work for a niche business within Automation as a Technical Support and Development Engineer? You will be joining an established yet expanding company that provides a challenge and the opportunity to learn new products and to grow with the company.
As the Technical Support and Development Engineer you will be:
• First point of call for clients wanting to discuss requirements/new projects
• Improving the quality of service and increasing penetration with existing customers
• Project managing requirements through to aftersales and client growth
• Creating customer quotations
• Attending exhibitions/trade shows
• Providing product advice and engineering specification
• Processing orders and keeping track of orders through the CRM system
To succeed as the Technical Support and Development Engineer you will need:
• A degree or relevant qualification in engineering/manufacturing along with customer facing experience
• The ability to gain customer confidence by demonstrating competence and being aware of customer time-scales
• Excellent attention to detail skills and the ability to pick things up quickly
• A flexible approach
• Experience in developing growth opportunities within existing accounts
