Due to the secure nature of this work, all candidates must be British Nationals and already hold or be eligible to hold UK Security Clearance to SC level or higher.
We have recently been selected to develop key safety and security features that are required for future European air traffic management communications. Our clients’ existing technologies will be enhanced with the extra reliability and protection required for safety critical air traffic management (ATM) operations.
We are responsible for developing ground-based gateways that will enable the technology system to interface with the European ATM network and incorporate security measures to protect the over-the-air communications link from cyber-attack. The systems will undergo rigorous validation and verification tests to assure safety and security requirements are met, before entering initial flight trials in 2019.
To support the expansion of the project team as we take on further related work, we require a Technical Manager to focus on Security Extensions (mainly Drop 4). You will be reporting directly to the Project Delivery Manager with a dotted line to the Programme Technical Architect.
We are looking for an individual who has a meticulous approach to their work and who is able to check that the requirements are being tested and have been implemented correctly.
