Sales Consultant – Specification Sales
Sector - HIGH END Commercial Furniture
Field based, Midlands and North (East and West) Territory
Starting salary circa £45,000 (negotiable based on experience) +
uncapped bonus (OTE £51,000 +), £6k annual car allowance, laptop, mobile etc
A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced sales person to join a well established business that prides itself on the original design and UK based manufacture of high-end furniture for the Hospitality, Workplace and Cruise sectors.
You will be representing a business in which high quality furniture is the result of passion, experience and craftsmanship, coupled with an unwavering dedication for being the best.
Located in or close to the Midlands, this is a field based senior specification sales role, reporting to the Sales Manager who is based in London.
As part of a growing multi-sector sales team you will be responsible for developing new business and maintaining relationships with key specifiers and buyers in the industry.
As a specification Sales Consultant, you will control, understand and influence clients and stakeholders whilst working to bring multiple projects to the point of order.
You will be responsible for:
Building relationships with key clients in the hospitality sector (e.g. hotels, restaurants, sporting venues)
Specification sales – working with key specifiers and buyers to provide appropriate furniture solutions.
Working within an established framework of pre-defined sales activities to achieve specific objectives
Relationship management - ensuring all existing customers are visited on a cyclical basis
Maintaining an up-to-date CRM system
Utilising one of the finest showrooms in London for Sales & Marketing opportunities
Specification Sales Consultant Requirements:
Good academic qualifications
Previous experience in a sales based role (ideally specification sales)
Experience in selling in to the leisure/hospitality sector desirable
An ambitious and well presented individual with good attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Confident, able to build a rapport with new clients, whilst beingattentive to longer term relationships
Proven ability to plan, manage and execute multiple tasks and projects
Driver, able to travel around the Midlands and North (East and West) (this territory can be as wide as you wish – there are plenty of contacts provided you are willing to travel)
The customer base is predominantly Midlands based. The role is field based with access to our London showroom and working from home (when not out visiting clients); there will be monthly visits to our London showroom and quarterly visits to the manufacturing facility located on the South Coast.
Package: £45k basic, this is negotiable dependent upon experience + 1.25% uncapped commission structure on all sales. £6k annual car allowance. Pension. Mobile, laptop and iPad, 22 days holiday entitlement + bank holidays.
