Job Description
Working as a Senior Engineering Technician you will be joining an up and coming business created specifically to develop a new generation of multiphase flow meters in the oil and gas industry. You will be assisting with the development and maintenance of a brand new laboratory and testing facility. Job role:

Assisting with the development and maintenance of the laboratory and testing facility

Assisting with building and maintaining a flow loop to allow the flow of oil, water and gas in different ratios. This machine will be a show piece for the company and will be used to demonstrate the new technology to end users, clients and stakeholders.

Working within a team of multidiscipline engineers to set up and perform regular flow tests

Building and assembling prototype flow meters

Testing and calibration of prototype flow meters

Mechanical packaging of sensors and electronics in high pressure environments
Preferred skills:
-
10 years mechanical and electronic assembly experience, preferably within the Oil and Gas sector

Previous component testing and calibration experience

Experience working with sophisticated mechanical and instrumentation systems

Excellent problem solving skills

Excellent communicator and capable of working with high level engineers in a collaborative environment
