Sales Director On-Trade Retail
An exciting opportunity to lead a team in a fast growing drinks business, this role is required to develop an on trade retail strategy to optimise growth and brand visibility in the channel.
- Build and maintain a high performing team to deliver company growth strategy
- Deliver profitable business results through sound financial planning and people resource management
- Establish excellent customer/consumer relations
- Support the sales strategy for the on-trade retail channel with other key internal groups
- Ensure development and implementation of effective account strategies and plans
- Contribute to the development of corporate and sales strategies to reflect understanding of opportunities in the on-trade retail channel
- Work with brand owners developing brand activation plans.
Experience & knowledge
- Of graduate calibre
- 5 years experience sales experience in premium brands within FMCG essential and ideally in drinks.
- Mastery of budgets and the commercial analysis of ROI.
- Knowledge of developing and delivering channel-specific brand sales plans
- Developing positive internal relationships
- Facilitation of NPD for customers
- Deliver flawless product support across all trade channels
- High level of commercial and IT skills
- Good presentation skills
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Adaptable and able to prioritise
- Category management would be an advantage as would a good understanding of the UK on-trade
Salary: up to £80K
