Digital Marketing Executive Job description - £20-£25K PA.

London

2 minutes from Tube Station
Office based. Hours: 9.30-6pm

(Graduates will be considered with relevant work experience)

Summary

Our client is a UK based Accessory Brand in the Apple market and we work in a small start-up team environment. We design premium accessories for iPad and iPhone, and we sell online as well as in retail stores. We are looking for a Digital Marketing Exec to work in our small Notting Hill based team to start ASAP.

You will be working with our Online Director helping to grow our business on Amazon & Our client website through improving listings, reviews, product photography & video, content creation & management, SEO/PPC/Social Media advertising etc. This is an exciting time for the overall growth of the organisation and we are looking to recruit an ambitious individual who is seeking a long term opportunity, personal development and career growth. This is a varied role in supporting our Digital Marketing needs for the business and full responsibilities will be defined based on experience. A creative background would be advantageous, but not required.

Responsibilities will also include covering Customer Service Support Desk when required by the needs of the business.

Essential experience & skills:

English must be Fluent & spoken as primary language

Experience working in eCommerce & retail a must

Excellent numerical & MS Excel skills

Basic SEO & Optimisation principles

Digital Marketing experience, client / agency side.

Must be Mac proficient and competent with using Microsoft Excel & Word (Understanding of VLook ups, Filters, pivot tables ideal)

Preferred experience:

Google Adwords & Analytics

Growing Sales & SEO on Amazon Seller and Vendor Central

Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop etc.

Basic HTML & CSS

An understanding of or experience in a retail industry, working with incoming/outgoing products and stock management.

Experience running customer support desk (zendesk, etc)

Content creation for digital marketing channels

Apple user preferred, for a better understanding of our market!

Ability to self-manage, self-start and get daily tasks done

Enjoy Multi-tasking and learning new skills

Often with small businesses, there is more to a job role than can be put on paper - so small business experience is also considered an asset!

Patient/Positive/Confident/Friendly demeanour

Team player is a MUST

Digital Marketing duties include:

Online Content management (Magento):

Updating sale prices & dates across 3-4 websites

Updating online keyword and metadata & product titles/descriptions.

Optimisation of product catalog on magento and amazon.

Amazon Seller Central / Vendor Central

Updating online keyword & product titles/descriptions.

Listing Management - ensuring listings are correct, images are all uploaded, stock is live, etc.

Putting monthly clearance stock proposals together and ensuring uploaded to Amazon Vendor Central.

Monitoring prices reflected online website and in seller central.

Managing Amazon review program across 4 market places - Ensuring positive reviews & responsive to negative reviews, for both product and service.

Actively managing the full reviews process and generating positive reviews on new products, building online ranking for listings to agreed KPIs

Other duties within Digital Marketing will be considered and are based on experience, e.g. Social Media Management, PPC, SEO, Content Management & creation etc.

Customer Service General Duties will be required to cover staff absence / leave:

  • Day to day Customer Service online support - Any returns, warranty claims, or website queries from customers.
  • Checking and resolving customer backorders
  • Check and sort Returned stock (RMA stock) for faulty/ok to re-sell.
  • Managing stock levels and stock on our online store, to help get new products online and ensure stock is not 'sold out’ online.
  • Working with our warehouse team to ensure customers’ orders are dispatched on time/lost orders are located/queries are dealt with in a timely manner, etc.
  • Generating promo codes for Customer Service issues.
  • Building positive reviews on our websites
  • Using positive customer service interactions to build a reviews network for new products on: Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.de, Amazon.fr and Amazon.com
