Job Description

Bell Cornwall Recruitment are looking to recruit an Estimator on behalf of an exciting and well established client based in Crewe

The Estimator will work in the Finance team for the Finance Manager and alongside the Design Manager and Workshop Project Manager to produce project specific estimates in response to client briefs and subsequent design proposals.

Key Skills

  • A relevant formal qualification in Finance is preferred but not essential; alternatively a knowledge of finance within the events, exhibition and/or conference industry is required

  • Previous project costing experience is required

  • Experience of working to, and maintaining, budgets

  • Ability to liaise across internal functions

  • Commercial awareness

  • Excellent knowledge of Excel

  • Good communication skills – both oral and written

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines

  • Good attention to detail

  • Lateral thinking and problem solving

  • Good team working skills

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure

  • Adaptable and flexible

  • Ability to use own initiative when working alone

  • Assertive nature, self-motivated and not easily disheartened

  • Passionate about customer service

    This role would suit individuals with at least 12 months experience in a similar position cost estimating on a variety of projects, looking for a new and exciting challenge! A full driving license is an essential requirement for this position.
