JOB TITLE: Corrugated Packaging Designer 
JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for an experience Structural Corrugated Packaging Designer. This role is to lead and manage a small team of experienced Designers creating bespoke corrugated packing solutions for high end clients. You will join a company that is growing from strength to strength, they are a leading manufacturer of corrugated packaging and well known for providing the highest of customer service to its clients. 

SALARY: £30,000- £40,000 (dependent on experience)

MUST HAVES: Knowledge and experience of corrugated packaging and experience of managing a team. You will be an experienced Designer. 

We are working with the UK Leading supplier of corrugated packing. This business offers their clients the opportunity to design and product a bespoke packaging solution. The company can offer clients a full 360 service, from idea, to design to product with a very quick turnaround. 

The successful Design Manager candidate will be required to: 
• Manage the existing Design team, help with technical design support whilst having your own customer base 
• Generate packaging solutions from specified customer briefs 
• Experience in designing Corrugated Packaging 
• Required to interact with clients, attending meetings, to offer design input 
• Producing design concepts from outlined project briefs, gathering feedback and redefining design concepts 
• Produce Pallet Plans using Cape Pack Software 
• Ability to sketch ideas quickly during brainstorming sessions 
• Previous management experience 

Our client is looking for strong packaging designer with the following experience: 
• As a 3D Structural Designer, you will have a strong background and portfolio in conceptual / corrugated packaging design 
• Deep knowledge of Artios or Kasemake CAD in rendering 3D conventional corrugated solutions 
• Educated in Design (desirable), e.g. BA or Diploma; Industrial Design & Technology, Art & Design, Packaging/Graphic Design 
• Polite and professional manner 
• Strong creative outlook 
• Used to operating in a fast-paced role 
• Able to work to tight deadlines
