Position: Collections Consultant
Location: Oxford (OX4)
Salary: £22,000 - £28,000 per annum
Hours: Monday - Friday (9.00am - 17.00pm or 12.00pm - 20.00pm each week), with 1 in 4 Weekends (10.00am - 18.00pm with 2 weekdays off in lieu)

Our client are an extremely successful and rapidly-expanding car finance business who are looking to recruit an intelligent and ambitious Collections Consultant to join their new and vibrant Oxford office.
As Collections Consultant, you will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound calls and emails to customers, dealing with any financial issues they may have. This will largely include making outbound calls to enquire about failed payments. Because this is a potentially sensitive subject, the successful candidate will need to be naturally empathetic, but also able to remain firm and professional, coming to a solution and ensuring that the client is paid appropriately.
The successful Collections Consultant will therefore need to be meticulously organised with seamless attention to detail and the ability to prioritise a high workload dependent on the needs of the customer or the relevant business. You will also need to maintain a high level of customer service and be able to effectively deal with any potentially sensitive financial issues.

- Finance-related experience is desirable
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience of working in a customer service telephone-based role
