Job Title: Business Development Manager - Training 
Location: Surrey
Package: circa £40k + sales bonus 
World leader in aviation regulations, compliance and safety management.  We specialise in training, consulting and managed services to a wide range of clients spanning across the design, production, maintenance and operations sectors of aviation.   Our world leading reputation and expertise has led us to train 120,000 aviation professionals and work with 35% of the world's airlines and 20% of the world's aircraft maintenance organisations.  Due to successful growth of our training services and an increasing number of opportunities we are now looking for a dedicated Business Development Manager to support the growth of in-company training sales.  
The position is a key role as part of a growing and vibrant sales team.  The position's primary responsibility will be to develop revenue producing relationships and to achieve new business and account growth targets for in-company training sales.  
Experience:
The candidate must have at least 3 years experience in proactive sales and have some exposure to the training and/or consulting sales process.  Experience of aviation is highly desirable, however not essential.
Role Responsibilities:
" Achieve monthly and annual sales targets 
" Build and grow a pipeline of in-company training opportunities  
" Initiate proactive business development activity to win new clients
" Protect and grow existing  in-company training accounts
" Develop compelling in-company training quotations and proposals 
" Collaborate with delivery consultants and other members of the BDM in order to build compelling training propositions 
" Conduct successful contract negotiations for in-company training sales
" Use a consultative approach in order to fully understand and respond to client needs and develop trusted working relationships with clients
Skills Required:
" Proven track record in achieving sales targets
" A strong negotiator and determined to sell successfully 
" Passionate about making a difference and learning the technical product knowledge
" Ability to write and present compelling proposals 
" Excellent communicator both written and verbal
" Must be able to work under pressure 
" To succeed in this position you must be self motivated, focused, detail orientated, able to multi task and collaborate with clients, team members and internal departments.
