Who we’re looking for

  • Experience in the commercial property sector, this could be within design & build, commercial estate agency, serviced offices, property management, chartered surveyors or similar – in a role perhaps within business development, or marketing, events, or any discipline with a high people engagement and focus
  • Knowledge, understanding from whatever perspective within the commercial property sector highly desirable

  • Outstanding personal presentation and excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to quickly establish a rapport and build long term relationships

  • Team player with integrity, initiative, self motivation and commitment

The Role

Our Business Development Manager will be building long term relationships through meetings, entertaining and hosting at specialist events, with already established and new contacts to identify potential new business opportunities, which will be referred to the sales team.  You will be working alongside, and interfacing with commercial property agents, with clients direct and specialist referral agencies, networking groups and forums. 

Job Description

  • Meetings with agents and third parties in order to build on existing and new contacts to maximise your network of property / agent professionals

  • Responsibilities for the annual programme of events and entertainment plans

  • Frequent conversations with key referral channels and gathering of information
  • Introduction of new market leads to support existing market intelligence
  • Based from our HQ in Bracknell, this role will entail some travel, fully expensed

  • Feeding information to our sales team for further qualification and action

  • Using the CRM, weekly reporting and working as an integral part of the BD team as a whole
