Business Development Manager - Verticals

London City

£60 000 Basic salary - Attractive commission structure

The opportunity:

This is a great opportunity to work for a market leading company in the UK and IE who are recruiting new talent to grow their already highly skilled UK sales team.

This role would suit a business development manager with:

  • Exposure to more than one of these verticals is a must - Security, Technology, Facilities, Transport, Education, Commercial Finance, Transport or Healthcare.
  • Fluent in high-level negotiation and liaise with internal bid teams
  • Be able to provide a sales record in excess of £1 million annually
  • First class interpersonal and influencing skills
  • A strategy on how to approach a particular market and industry
  • Exceptional networking skills
  • Committed to delivering exceptional service
  • Build partnerships with prospective clients
  • Confident in preparing sales presentations and proposals

More about the role:

  • Achieving agreed sales targets for each of the group's services by actively working on opportunities and leads
  • Full support from internal sales support function
  • Actively promote all the companies services and products to potential customers
  • Prepare cost analysis for all work being tendered and submit for approval
  • Interface with the operations team both at quotation stage and hand over and start-up of any new contracts secured
  • Liaise with other departments to facilitate new contracts and client on-boarding
  • Preparation of monthly sales analysis reports from pipeline stage through to contract finalisation
  • Build a target plan for potential customers within our specialist sector
  • Build partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Working with executive level clients
