We currently have an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to continue to develop their career in the area of Smart Sensor technology by working as part of an agile, innovative business.
Working in collaboration with the sales and marketing team, you will help to develop the strategy for growth of the Smart Sensor business, along with the execution of significant personal sales and marketing, and client management activities that result in continued growth of this important sector.
TYPE OF WORK
Business development with us is about selling a capability, rather than an existing product portfolio, so identifying possible opportunities demands a solid understanding of the technical issues involved in a potential application. In order to identify opportunities that fit the company’s skill set, and to hold your own in discussions with technical specialists, you will need a degree in electronics or software and some direct experience of bespoke product or system development.
Ideally you will have experience of business development for design services or bespoke systems relevant to Smart Sensors. This experience could be across a range of markets, or in one of the key markets for Smart Sensor technology, such as transport, retail, environmental sensing, utilities, energy & power.
You will be based at our offices in Cambridgeshire and must expect to travel frequently on business. Excellent communications skills are a prerequisite.
