Business Development Manager (Automation)
Up to £43,000 plus car (a4 Estate), healthcare, pension and good bonus structure
Location - home based, ideally within 100 mile radius of Milton Keynes
My client specialises in the design, manufacture sales and service of industrial automation and machinery for the Automotive industry. Due to strong recent growth, they have a requirement for a Business Development Manager.
The role itself involves meeting and liaising with clients to capture their bespoke requirements, generating new business, managing existing customer relationships and account management . This will be a business development focussed role, with elements of Account Management, Project Management and Aftermarket Support. To excel in this role, you will require:
- a proven track record in the sales of special purpose automoated machinery such as automated warehouse equipment, conveyors, cranes, robotic machinery, PLC controlled bespoke machinery or similar
- able to work under pressure, coordinate multidisciplined teams, suppliers and stakeholders to deliver highly engineered projects with short lead times
- a good understanding of Automotive manufacturers, tier 1 suppliers
- able to travel UK and Europe wide
