Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well-established apprenticeship and training provider. They are currently seeking an experienced Sales person to be based at their site in Newcastle-under-Lyme. There are good long term prospects and security. My client also offers continuous professional development. Ambitious and able candidates will have the potential to grow into management roles.

The successful candidate will possess experience in B2B sales, field based face to face experience.

Working alongside the in-house recruitment team you will assist in matching vacancies from local employers with some of their young learners - apprentices. You will also liaise externally with local employers, learners, school representatives and parents, raising the company profile and generating leads for existing contracts, promoting the companies’ whole portfolio of training courses and apprenticeships. You will have a flair for building good relationships with potential new and existing clients.

The role would suit someone that has previously worked as a recruitment consultant; field sales; business development manager; business development advisor

The salary is between £17,000-£22,000 basic + commission and 40p mileage allowance. Company laptop and mobile phone will be provided, pension scheme after 3 months, 25 days’ holiday + stats.

  • Experience in B2B Field Sales

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills

  • Good client relationship building skills, over the phone and face to face

  • Computer literate

  • Friendly and professional approach

  • The desire or potential to grow within the business

  • Full driving licence essential with access to your own vehicle
