Amazing and permanent Service Co-ordinator opportunity in Southampton working for an independent and family run national distributor, organising, managing and maintaining the business’s service contracts.
The Company supplies high quality industrial cleaning machinery to its national client base.
You will manage the Engineering Department which provides regular servicing to customers as well as breakdown repairs.
The Company has been established for over 20 years and the family run business has grown from strength to strength by developing strong relationships with its customers and suppliers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who excels in excellent customer service, and who can work with an established team. Depending on your experience and transferable skills a bigger basic salary may well be available.
Key Features of the Role:
You will be expected to proactively liaise between customers and Engineers on an on-going day to day basis, to schedule in routine serving and call outs.
You will be required to have the skills and knowledge to communicate with customers via email, telephone and in person, as well as having the ability to create a welcoming environment to clients to ensure they receive a great service.
Support the Engineers by chasing purchase orders and by obtaining diagrams relating to parts, responding to urgent situations by liaising between Engineers and clients, to find a quick solution.
Prioritising between service visits and call outs, communicating with the customer, keeping them informed of progress and updates.
Processing sales invoices, relating to the service department and quoting customers, sending monthly reports to clients and demonstrating commitment to exceeding expectations and goals.
Knowledge and Skills:
You should be an accomplished Service Manager / Supervisor / Co-ordinator and have previous experience in a service department and customer services and this must be clearly identified on your CV.
You must also have excellent PC skills and should be using MS Office and CRM databases in your current role.
You must be able to show on your CV where you have used your own initiative and proactive nature in a service department or customer services environment.

Working Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm.
