You would manage the relevant territory and region, as a sales professional, using your B2B telephone experience to hunt out revenue streams from existing and prospective clients.
You would be selling a mixture of digital and print based advertising products that you had assessed to be the best fit to your customer’s and their brand needs.
Setting realistic expectations, managing B2B relationships throughout advertising campaigns, and looking to build on campaign success, or to explain / rationalise failures.
You are expected to build a realistic advertising campaign plan around budgets and needs, rather than burning through them in one hit consulting with the customer to give them your experience and advice, through high levels of customer service and excellence.
This is a full time permanent position.

Knowledge and Skills:
Essential to the Media Sales Consultant role is a background in business to business sales. Full training is given on products and services, so previous media or publishing experience is not essential, but is desirable.
It is also essential that you have corporate customer services, account management or relationship management experience.
Due to the nature of the role you must have good attention to detail, an ability to plan as well as being able to decipher reports and statistics.
You must be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with a corporate customer decision maker, when relaying your experience and knowledge to various levels of understanding.
You must have a good level of experience working with sales systems, CRM, tracking and detailing customer data and details of all correspondence.
You must have good Microsoft Office packages experience and minimum GCSE Math’s and English. However a record of self-learning or relevant degree is desirable.
You must be both a sales hunter and consultant, with the ability to negotiate, and solve problems. So you can overcome challenges, technical questioning or objections in the sales process that might come up.
