Founded 25 years ago, our client is pioneering in the field of airline pilot training and resourcing. They focus on building strong relationships with their customers and delivering excellence in all they do. They are currently seeking additional Theoretical Knowledge Instructors to join their Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) Ground School team. Based at their site on the South Coast in Hampshire. These are permanent roles.
Reporting into the Chief Theoretical Knowledge Instructor (CKTI), you will work with some of the most highly experienced personnel in the aviation world, operational centres strategically positioned globally and our client’s investment in state-of-the art technology means their service delivery standards are the envy of many other aviation support providers the world over.
Specifically, you will teach a range of EASA ATPL Instruments and technical subjects.
You will prepare and update EASA ATPL course materials in accordance with the NPA 25 syllabus.
You will assess and act as an internal moderator in appropriate subject areas.
You will prepare, invigilate and moderate appropriate EASA ATPL Theoretical Knowledge exams.
You will monitor and report on trainee progress.
You will provide guidance and support to individual trainees.
You will maintain accurate course records.
Knowledge and Skills:
You will be an accomplished Theoretical Knowledge Instructor and possess the eligibility to live and work within the EEA, with experience in Air Transport Pilots Licences (ATPL), full time and distance learning areas.
You will have previous experience in giving theoretical knowledge instruction and an
appropriate theoretical background in the subject on which you will provide theoretical
knowledge instruction.
You will be flexible and have the ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements.
You will possess an empathy and understanding of learning styles.
You will have an international outlook, able to deal comfortably with various cultures.
You will be able to multi task and work under pressure.
You will possess excellent communication skills and able to interact well with trainees able to deal with people in a polite and friendly manner.
You will be able to work independently and as part of a team and carry out assignments to completion.
You will have proven working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Office/Excel and PowerPoint.
You will have strong organisational and customer service skills.

The normal working hours are 40 hours per week.  The normal office hours are between 0830 and 1700 and operational hours are 0600 to 2200. This permanent role is based on a flexible 40 hour week that will require some weekend working on a rota basis with the other team members. 
Basic salary will be in range of £35,510 – 40,904 per annum depending upon experience.
