Later in the year they will be opening a brand new depot in Buckinghamshire and are now recruiting for New Business Development Managers to operate from the new depot. The positions are permanent.
You will generate sales leads through prospecting for new business.
You will be responsible for increasing revenue from the newly acquired new accounts or from existing account spend.
You will develop and understand individual needs and strategies to maximize sales.
You will manage your own diary and planning of client visits.
Yu will work with other internal departments, such as Telesales and Transport to maximise sales and operational efficiencies
You will be responsible for driving the growth of your area.
In addition to this successful candidate’s will strengthen relationships with existing and new accounts through effective cross selling and up selling.
You will have various methods at your disposal and our client will support you every step of the way.
Knowledge and Skills:
Successful candidates will be experienced Terrority Sales / Business Development Managers with experience having been gained with a delivered foodservice wholesaler or possibly catering equipment sector.
You will have a “ hunter” style mentality to grow the business on a day to day basis and you will be tenacious, self - motivated and ideally living in one of the following areas: Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, West London, Middlesex, Hertfordshire, North Hampshire and Surrey.
As our client is a forward thinking growth player in the foodservice sector, candidates must be career focused and motivated towards driving substantial growth across their territory and be interested in developing a career within man management.
A natural confident communicator and negotiator you must understand what it takes to deliver a quality service to business customers and be capable of forging your own sales plans.
You will be numerate, have excellent presentation and communication skills, be able to communicate at all levels and be decisive, assertive and persuasive.
You will enjoy a level of autonomy and therefore must be highly self-motivated to achieve agreed goals.
You will have strong negotiating and relationship skills and able to manage your own time effectively.
A full driving licence is a prerequisite. Basic salary will be in a range of between £32 -35k. In addition, there is an uncapped bonus scheme in operation plus company car, mobile phone, tablet and the other usual benefits.
