I am currently recruiting for a Transport Operations Support Manager for a Print manufacturing company based in Leicester.
This is a new role within the company as a result of continued growth.
This role will require you to have a Transport Background (Legal, Planning)
You will have day to day dealings with 3rd Party Logistics companies and running a small fleet of vehicles.
You will also be carrying out cost comparisons of 3rd Party Logistic companies Vs Own fleet, and make recommendations based on your findings.
You should have good network or Transport connections within Transport Companies
Good Excel skills to carry out detailed cost benefit and comparisons.
A flexible approach in running a small office and transport team
Have some Stock control knowledge/experience
Demonstrate evidence of Cost Reduction within a Transport Environment.
