Job Description

Joining a newly established lead generation team based in Basingstoke, this role is vital to the overall sales process underpinning and supporting our new client acquisition activities or the organisation.

Duties will involve:

  • High activity levels to include significant phone time; approximately 150 calls per day with high levels of decision maker contact and lead generation
  • Ensuring all activity, and all relevant information collated is recorded on the company CRM system
  • Effective journey planning and time management for setting of appointments in New Business Team’s calendar
  • Liaising directly with the New Business Development Executives to identify and target new opportunities
  • Supporting the wider Sales team with customer calls to existing clients when required, promoting the services portfolio, ensuring that onsite meetings are arranged as required for the contract to meet the client’s recovery procedure

The employee will also demonstrate:

  • Have the ability to work under pressure
  • Be organised and able to work in a methodical and documented manner
  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Must be flexible, dependable, and able to multitask with priority and to deadlines
  • Be able to take direction
  • Proven track record in B2B telemarketing
  • Proven experience within IT services
  • CRM competent
