This role would suit an experienced Technical Support Engineer who is technically minded, enjoys problem-solving but can remain approachable and calm under pressure and is good at dealing with people.
Applicants should have previous experience in dealing with infrastructure, networking and security products and enjoy working in a busy, changing environment.

Essential requirements: The successful Technical Support Engineer will have:
Previous experience of working in the infrastructure, networking and security products industry (desirable)
Knowledge of data infrastructure products and installations
GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above
IP Security experience is an advantage
Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise
Good IT, communication and customer service skills
Excellent problem-solving skills.
The duties of the Technical Support Engineer are:
Deliver high quality technical support to customers and staff queries via the helpdesk
Logging all telephone/email queries and endeavour to provide solutions
Provide infrastructure and network assistance as required
Deliver internal and customer training
Test and evaluate returned products to determine fault - correspond with suppliers regarding faulty equipment
Work closely with customers/suppliers to resolve quality issues
Create and administer incident reports and m the return of faulty goods.
Salary: £22,000 to £28,000 depending on experience plus yearly bonus of up to extra £1600.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday - flexible between 8:00am and 6:00pm
