Job Description

Do you have experience in SQL database management, development, and programming? We have a great opportunity working for a company based in Salisbury. The salary is a competitive salary and there are great staff perks!

You would be responsible for administering and managing the SQL database and developing business intelligence report solutions to deliver critical business data.

Responsibilities:

SQL Database Administration & Management

  • Maintain, configure and perform necessary updates to all databases

  • Develop functionality and performance

  • Database Backup and Recovery

 

ERP System Administration & Management

  • Administration of users and roles

  • Maximise system uptime in line with SLA

  • Prepare for and perform necessary updates / patches / customisations

  • Create and maintain custom workflow components

 

Business Intelligence Administration

  • Administration of company Reporting Solutions

  • Create / maintain datasets for use with Reporting Solutions

  • Development of custom reports / solutions where necessary

 

Domain / Systems Administration

  • AD/DNS/DHCP/IIS Administration in a Microsoft Windows Server environment

  • Virtual Environment Administration in a VMware ESXi environment

 

Skills & Requirements

  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems for workstations & Servers

  • Demonstrable expertise in SQL database management, development, and programming skills and IIS administration

  • Experience of working within an ITIL framework

  • Microsoft Office applications knowledge in a support environment

  • Requires experience managing with an ERP system database

  • Generating new ideas and driving their implementation

  • Clear understanding of, and, preferably, experience of working in, virtual environments
