Position Description
Our client is seeking to recruit an experienced and dynamic SC Cleared Network Engineer that will be able to demonstrate a breadth of knowledge based on Cisco technology and encompass wide ranging security experience that includes firewalls and encryption.

The successful candidate should preferably have over 5 years of CCNP certification and 5 years of experience of installing and configuring - Firewalls that includes Fortinet, McAfee, Checkpoint, Cisco routing and switching, Bluecoat proxy, Encryption devices and experience of working on secure clients.

The candidate will be able to evidence experience of installing and configuring network devices and evidence a sound commercial approach and be proactive to achieve deadlines.

The main objectives of the role is the delivery of Transition, where the client has won new business, Projects and routine changes, undertaking these activities based onsite at a secure office with occasional travel to client UK locations when projects require.

The candidate will implement network devices in accordance to HLD and LLD’s and adhere to Change Control process, performing installation and configuration to a level that meets  internal standards and the client security standards and accreditation.

The role will require engagement with Programme Team, Network Architects and the current secure technical implementation team assigned.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills and a professional approach as an ambassador.
