Due to continued growth we are looking to appoint a Senior / Managing Quantity Surveyor to assist in overseeing the delivery of a variety of projects within our Quantity Surveying team. You will be supporting the team to generate project solutions and work on developments for Clients within the public and private sectors, including residential, leisure, healthcare and commercial.

The main responsibilities include overseeing the pre and post contract services carried out by the team including; cost planning, preparing tender and contract documentation, contract administration and acting as Employer’s Agent, preparing interim payments and cost reports and agreeing final accounts. You will share your technical expertise through developing and supporting a team of Quantity Surveyors.

You will have at least 1 to 3 years post qualified experience with 5 years operational experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the UK market with the ability to motivate and inspire a dedicated team of professionals. Skills and Personal Specification

MRICS qualified as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with 1 to 3 years post qualified experience.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the UK market with the ability to act as Employer’s Agent, Contract Administrator and Project Co-ordinator.
Knowledge of JCT contracts.
Ability to prepare budget estimates and costs plans.
Ability to act on behalf of a funder as an Independent Monitoring Surveyor.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive approach to team working and the ability to self-manage and prioritise.
Committed to innovation and continuous improvement.
Ability to build and maintain Client relationships.
Literacy, numeracy and ICT skills.
