Senior Project Manager - Life Sciences
To £80K plus extensive benefits package
Your future duties and responsibilities:
The senior Project Manager for this Life Sciences programme will typically develop and drive home an integrated project plan, adhering to project strategy and ensuring project deliverables and milestones are met. It is anticipated this would entail the full gambit of project management responsibilities, including risk management, communicating project risk, developing mitigation strategies and holding budget/financial responsibilities.
The project manager will lead project meetings and workshops, ensure proper communication between 3rd party vendors and end-users and work closely in reporting to the senior leadership team.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
The successful Project Manager will offer significant experience delivering projects in the Life Sciences sector, ideally leading and managing Laboratory systems and implementations in reputable pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology environments. He/she must be proficient in interacting directly with clients in a laboratory setting on an on-going basis, closely managing their expectations and be technically familiar with the SDLC.
From a Project Management perspective, the successful candidate will offer demonstrable experience managing timeline and budget/financials, project deliverables, risks and mitigating those risks. He/she should be well-versed in co-ordinating cross-functional teams, built on the foundation of Clinical, Scientific and/or Laboratory processes.
A relevant technical degree, PMP/Prince2 project management certifications and experience concurrently managing multiple projects/workstreams is preferred, as is an agile and analytical approach to project management.
