Senior Lead Paraplanner – Norfolk – Excellent, negotiable package

Our client is a leading Norfolk-based Financial Services company. They have an immediate vacancy for a Senior Lead Paraplanner. The role involves providing vital support to the team of Financial Planners and Directors; researching products, investment strategies and financial planning solutions, tax calculations, preparing financial planning and recommendation reports, including provision of a high level of technical support.  You will also be expected to act as the technical interface between the consultants and the clients.

The Senior Lead Paraplanner will act as a point of reference for technical research as well as developing and maintaining a good working relationship with financial institutions. You knowledge in all areas of financial planning must be exemplary. You will also attend client meetings and advise on financial services products.

In addition, you will develop and maintain fund panel as part of the company’s core investment philosophy and hold designated IC responsibilities providing support to the compliance function as per those designated responsibilities. You will develop a client bank for both existing and new clients and ensure all business is conducted in an ethical and compliant manner. Provide support to the compliance function, including but not restricted to complaint handling, project work, ensuring firm adheres to FCA and other requirements, production/maintenance of suitability templates, training and competence scheme. Assisting with team training and development as and when requested.

To be considered for this exciting role, as well as having an outstanding track record as a Lead Paraplanner in a similar organisation extending to five years, you must have a Diploma level 4 and preferred Chartered status.  

This senior role has an excellent package associated including a base salary of around £40,000 pa.
