St Christopher’s Hospice is a charity which raises significant funds each year through the generosity and commitment of local communities. They are now looking for a Senior Community Fundraiser to join their successful team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join this great organisation to help raise money through events and activities in the local communities.
The role:
- To actively engage with local groups and organisations
- Keep raising the profile and deliver talks about the work of the hospice
- Develop a programme to build support groups across the five boroughs supported by the hospice
- Develop and maintain a programme of attendance at local events
- Research third party events and submit applications for St Christopher’s to be selected as the beneficiary charity for these events
- Project manage third party events and recruit volunteers to support these
- Consistently provide quality service
- Be available to do some evening and weekend work
Candidate Criteria:
- Of graduate calibre
- Preferably from a fundraising background
- Ability to take responsibility and be accountable for tasks and actions
- Be self-motivated with an aptitude for problem solving
- Be a team player with the ability to establish and build effective relationships
- Have a commitment to constantly improve and maintain the high standards of this organisation
- Manage and stimulate your team and other staff members
- Excellent interpersonal skills, confident with a strong work ethic
