Job Description

Sales Manager – Telecoms 
£20k - £25k per annum (Car Allowance + OTE expected at £50k per annum)
Portsmouth / Fareham / Southampton and Surrounding suitable
Hours of work: Between the hours of 8:30am and 5.30pm

This is an excellent opportunity for a Telecoms Sales Manager to join a rapidly growing telecommunications company based in Hampshire that offers excellent career prospects (to become sales manager and eventually sales director as the growth happens) plus an attractive salary with uncapped OTE and benefits.

This role would suit an experienced Telecoms Sales Manager who is ambitious, self-motivated and able to work alone from home and their Havant based office. 

The successful Telecoms Sales Manager will have:

  • Enjoy building relationships with clients over the telephone and face to face.
  • Previous outbound business to business telecoms sales experience 
  • A consultative sales approach and be polished for field sales 
  • Can identify, generate and close business over the phone and through networking
  • IT literate - knowledge of MS Word and Excel and be comfortable with CRMs. 

The duties of the Telecoms Sales Manager are:

  • Making outbound proactive business to business calls to existing and new companies selling telecommunication products 
  • Building strong customer relationships, engaging with key decision makers 
  • and identifying and qualifying close solution opportunities
  • Account managing customer base, keeping up to date with market and business trends including competitor activities, understanding developments for the client and identifying new and emerging business opportunities
  • Responding to leads provided within 24 hours and updating systems accordingly
  • Achieving sales targets in all agreed areas and manage customer expectation in terms of delivery, installation and billing.
