Job Description
Residential Sales Manager needed to oversee a thriving residential sales department for a well-established and modern independent estate agency in Kentish Town.
With a good volume of sole-agency stock and a solid market presence built up over decades, this is a busy and fast-paced independent estate agency that has seen a flurry of new instructions since the lifting of the Covid-19 lockdown.
- Managing a sales team of 3 within a broader team of 13, this office covers the prime NW London locations of Kentish Town, Camden, Primrose Hill, St Johns Wood, Hampstead, and Belsize Park. Instructions range from £360,000 to £3m with over £200,000 in sole-agency fees sitting in the sales division pipeline
- The top billing sales negotiator banked £50,000 in his last financial year and the company is expanding their departments to meet demand.
- This company did not let go of any employees during the Covid-19 lockdown nor put its employees on furlough. They've been able to do this due to strong financial stability, a loyal client base and a well-established market presence that has sustained them through the lockdown and that has seen them continue to thrive post-lockdown
Salary & Commissions
- Basic Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
- Dept Commissions: (TBC at interview stage)% on new lets and sales,
- Personal Commissions: 15% on all deals
- OTE: £65,000 - £75,000+
- Car Allowance: £3000 per annum. Higher if necessary
- Bonuses: If the sales teams achieve certain targets
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee a sales team of three comprised of 2 negotiators, 1 sales coordinator
- Sourcing new properties to sell
- Conducting market appraisals to win new instructions
- Remaining abreast of current property market conditions and duly advising vendors accordingly
- Producing reports to present to the director
- Setting team targets
- Overseeing team meetings
- Maximising all opportunities
- Great communication skills/customer care
General Requirements:
- A minimum of 2years of residential sales team management is required
- Local area knowledge of Kentish Town and surrounding NW London is an advantage but not essential
- Full driving license is required
- Residential Sales Manager must have 2yrs or more of experience in residential
- sales and lettings team management
- Familiarity with legal sales processes and pertinent legislation
