Senior Administrator

£25,000 to £29,000 (negotiable) + benefits

Responsible for administration and data management, you will be looking after our administration and data, researching prospective clients to provide new and validate existing information. Reporting to our Head of Business Development, this key administration role is placed within a small, long standing and growing team, helping us build on our knowledge and understanding of customers and potential new avenues for growth, ensuring we are always up to date and aware of what’s happening in our area and sector

 

This role is best suited to an enquiring mind, someone attentive to detail with excellent communication skills (verbal and written), a thirst for knowledge and a love of what might be described as the ‘commercial’ jigsaw puzzles when it comes to administration and research online.

 

Senior Administrator (Sales Support & Research) responsibilities include:

  • Utilising available assets (to include but not limited to the internet, social media, LinkedIn and phone etc.) to research for additional information to enable us to be in pole position for tendering for future business development opportunities

  • Finding out information about prospective clients (by online, social media etc), sourcing the names of key ‘decision makers’, clarifying and confirming addresses, contact information, email and phone numbers. Putting the full picture together for prospective clients – it’s a giant jigsaw puzzle!

  • Confirming the accuracy of the data we have on file

  • Excellent communication skills – and a fairly outgoing personality

  • Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel and able to pick up a CRM system – training provided)

  • High attention to detail, organised and practical approach to information gathering, research and accuracy with the maintenance of administration and database

  • Passion for information gathering, an enquiring mind and desire to complete each ‘puzzle’

  • This role would suit someone with relevant business research, sales support and CRM experience
