Job Description

Basingstoke based global technology company seeks a driven, proactive Reward Business Partner. 40-50k pa, free parking, healthcare, pension, gym membership and retail discounts to name a few of their incredible benefits! Starts ASAP.

Reporting to the Group Head of Reward (direct line to the European HR Director) you will be responsible for the delivery of all compensation and benefits activity in relation to the EMEA and EMEA Distribution region and will work closely with the Country HR teams in EMEA to support the annual salary and performance management process. You will also manage a variety of reward projects, as required across the region, to deliver the reward and performance management strategy for the Company and will work closely with other members of the EMEA Leadership and HR team.

As the Reward Business Partner you will be responsible for:

  • Management of job matching and benchmarking to client groups across the EMEA including survey participation and analysis of data for the region
  • Providing comprehensive benchmarking across the group accounting for the impact on the business
  • Maintenance of relevant compensation documentation and data for audit purposes
  • Acting as benefits advisor to the EMEA team and key contact for Broker relationships
  • Managing reward related projects and responsible for the communication of reward packages including awareness training
  • Supporting acquisition and integration activities and providing ongoing support to EMEA HR teams throughout the salary review process including salary, performance rating and diversity analysis and statistics
  • Establishing and building effective relationships with suppliers, escalating and resolving any issues as a matter of urgency
  • Making recommendations to local Bonus plans as appropriate. Recording and presenting data to the EMEA Finance Director
  • Managing the annual reward cycle by sourcing data, creating tools, model scenarios and benchmarking
  • Liaising with the HR team regarding reward related projects ensuring legislative compliance
  • Providing support to EMEA HR teams throughout the entire salary review process
  • Researching reward incentives and keeping abreast of market practice

Required Education and Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level
  • Part or Full CIPD Qualification
  • Intermediate to advanced IT skills
  • Pay and benefits harmonisation knowledge is desirable

Skills and Competencies:

  • Job evaluation skills
  • Job matching and salary survey participation and data analysis
  • In-depth knowledge of salary benchmarking and benefit analysis
  • Understanding of reward and bonus schemes
  • Experienced in co-ordinating and reviewing benefit providers
  • Management of benefit plans and providers
  • General systems and data analysis
  • Advanced Excel
  • ‘Can do’ attitude and willingness to work additional hours and travel on occasion
  • Excellent time management with ability to prioritise workload, work to deadlines and possess strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Must be client relationship focused and understand the importance of building effective working relationships
