About the Role:
To provide a caring, nurturing, and loving home environment for our children whilst encouraging independence and choice.
As a Registered Manager, you are responsible for running a residential children’s home. This covers Staff, the children, and the home itself.
You will have a responsibility to the care staff members (long-term stable team) and ensure they are given the tools to properly look after and care for the children. Your aim is to support them, make improvements and ensure everything is running smoothly. This includes ensuring the staff is fully trained and organising any training needed. There may be the odd occasion where you may be needed to fill in for staff absences.
As this is a children’s home, you will also be part of their lives and will aim to have a positive impact on them by being a role model and giving them support based on their needs. You would also be responsible for overseeing that their needs are being met by your team.
Our client is looking for a caring and experienced Registered Manager. You would need to have experience doing this role and come from a similar home that has a Good or higher Ofsted report.
You would need a level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare, or willing to undertake it.
A friendly but firm approach to management would be ideal as we want to promote a great working environment.
About the Client:
Our Client is a Residential Child Care home provider. The 5 bedroom home, situated in the West Midlands, houses 3 kids and 2 staff members. Due to the lack of an RM, they can only house 1 child and want to rectify that as there is a major demand for their services.
They are a long-term option and usually home children until they turn 18. This means a stable influence is essential for them.
You will be rewarded with a great working environment and real job satisfaction as well as a very competitive Salary and Bonus.
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000
Bonus: Up to £7,000
