WNA Solutions are recruiting for a professional Registered Children’s Home Manager for our client, a small well established private group of children’s homes. The role is to oversee the management of their 4 bed LD home in Sheffield for children with varying care needs.
The company has a great ethos towards staff working conditions and prides itself on the level of care and support that it provides and its community spirit. The home has an Ofsted rating of Good but the company always strives to maintain and develop standards.
The ideal candidates will have worked within a children’s home environment and have Registered Manager’s Award or Level 5 NVQ. You will be fully aware of Ofsted rules and regulations and will be committed to the care and wellbeing of the children in your charge.
This role would suit a candidate who is looking to grow and develop the business and bring on other services.
Due to the nature of the business candidates are required to have strong people & management skills as there is a great deal of interaction with other societies, charities, and the local community.
This role requires the individual to monitor and keep all staff records and be able to develop the business further.
Duties will include care planning, staff delegation and mentoring, liaising with visiting professionals and families and any other duties delegated by the CEO.
