Key Features of the Role:
You will research and build relationships with new clients specifically with regional and head offices in the sectors of contract catering, regional convenience etc.
You will be calling on existing Contract Catering clients which is a key sector of business for the Company.
You will plan approaches and pitches. Work with the wider sales team to develop proposals that meet the client’s needs, concerns and objectives.
You will identify existing clients that can be targeted for sales growth.
You will strengthen relationships with existing accounts through effective cross selling and up selling.
Participate in company sales meetings, conference calls and present results.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Territory Sales / Business Development Manager with experience having been gained with a delivered foodservice or retail convenience wholesaler.
You will be tenacious, self - motivated and living North or West of London e.g. within 45 minutes travelling rom Heathrow .
As our client is a forward thinking growth player in the foodservice and convenience sectors, candidates must be career focussed and motivated towards driving substantial growth gained from large independent customers / small regional groups.
A natural confident communicator and negotiator you must understand what it takes to deliver a quality service to business customers and be capable of forging your own sales plans.
You will be numerate, have excellent presentation and communication skills, be able to communicate at all levels and be decisive, assertive and persuasive.
You will enjoy a level of autonomy and therefore must be highly self-motivated to achieve agreed goals.
You will have strong negotiating and relationship skills and able to manage your own time effectively.
What’s on Offer?
On offer to the successful candidate is an attractive basic salary of between £38-40k depending upon your background, experience and skill set, possibly more for an outstanding candidate.
