Seeking assistance from TEAM members who specialise in Construction roles:

Senior Quantity Surveyor – Leisure Construction

OTE £50-70k (dependent on qualifications and experience), plus pension, bonus, car/car allowance, healthcare

From offices in Nursling, our customer base is UK wide.  As the leader in our market sector, we specialise in construction and fit out of bespoke environments within the leisure and education sectors (projects ranging from £250k+ to £5m+ in value).  Offering diversity and variety for the work assigned, we enjoy long term, trusted client relationships and supplier partnerships, repeat business and referrals, all of which continue to increase our market share and continued growth.  As we undertake an increasing number of new assignments, these are gaining in size and complexity, all of which is immensely motivating for our team.


As a result of further expansion, we are now seeking to appoint additional Quantity Surveyors who share the company ethos, ambition and DNA. 


The Role: (full role description will be supplied prior to interview)

  • Assist, coordinate and advise a small team of Quantity Surveyors, working closely with them on site for larger meetings

  • Feasibility, Tenders and Estimating

  • Reviewing incoming projects with the pre-construction team and Operations Director

  • CVR – presenting detailed information on the cost of particular elements of work on a periodic basis to enable payment for those works carried out to date, valuations etc

  • Division of a project into component work packages, awarding work packages to specialist subcontractors, negotiating the best deals

  • Contractual control – dealing with contractual and legal matters

  • Managing costs and budgets, payments and monthly accounts, settling final accounts

  • Financial control to advise and monitor progress for the client

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous, relevant Quantity Surveying experience in construction - essential

  • Proven experience of managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Proven experience of working as an effective team member

  • Organised, methodical, high attention to detail

Education / Qualifications:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar (HND + experience) professional qualification

  • Desire to continue with ongoing personal development


  • Instinctive, genuine people and customer focus

  • Organised, practical and diplomatic

  • Well presented with excellent communication skills
