Job Description

We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join a well established and successful company based in Wolverhampton.  The role will suit somebody who is looking to be part of a growing organisation and enjoys a role that is busy and varied.


The ideal candidate must have previous administration skills and be a confident user of Microsoft Excel as you will be using it on a daily basis.  Experience of producing tenders, proposals or quotes would be an advantage.


The role:

The duties of the Proposal Co-ordinator are:

•           Working closely with a team of Sales Executives to develop proposals for customers

•           Transferring existing information held in central databases into Microsoft Excel

•           Analysing customer data and identifying the most effective machine and product to meet customer requirements

•           Agreeing pricing and products to make a viable solution for customers

•           Amending, altering and editing proposal templates

•           Keeping a log of all proposals in the CRM system

•           Identifying alternative products where necessary to meet customer requirements


The person:

A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel as using it on a daily basis, pivot tables and VLOOKUP’s would be an advantage

•           Good administration skills, experience of producing proposals or quotes would be an advantage

•           An excellent attention to detail

•           The ability to be able to liaise with Sales Executives on a daily basis to produce proposals

•           An analytical or technical approach

•           A highly organised approach and be able to work to strict deadlines

•           A good level of Maths and English

Salary: £18,000

Benefits include 22 days holiday plus bank holidays which increase to 25 days over length of service, free car parking and company pension scheme


This role would suit someone with previous experience as: Proposals Administrator, Sales Administrator, Project Administrator, Project Co-ordinator, Commercial Analyst,  Stock Co-ordinator, Inventory Administrator, Technical Administrator
