If so, we’d love to hear from you as our client is looking to recruit a Planning Manager to join their Chilled Food Manufacturing business based near Bristol.
Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, you will manage the Planning Department for both production planning both for the immediate day to day planning, as well the next 12 weeks. You will ensure that day to day scheduling is in line with orders & production, and work collaboratively with the team who are responsible for the Demand Planning.
Customer Service level as well as profit to the business should be at the forefront of every decision made and you will work closely with the Supply Planners to ensure minimum stocks and waste. You will deputise for the Supply Chain Manager in their absence and together you will build a team of people who are passionate about first class supply chain.
So what experience do you need? Well you must have worked in a food manufacturing Supply Chain function previously and know Production Planning inside out. Managing a team of planners is a must as well as developing your team as this organisation prides itself on career progression. Setting deadlines & achieving them is vital, as well as being resilient and having great tenacity.
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 plus benefits
