Our client, a very well respected property firm, is currently seeking an Accounts Assistant. Based in the Head Office, this is a great opportunity to join a very long established traditional agent that operates at the top end of the market. Due to the nature of the role, it is essential you have accounts experience within a Lettings environment.
You will be responsible for preparing accounts and landlord statements for the lettings departments of 4 different office. Your remit will also include -
- Completing the weekly payment cycle
- Producing banking and Inland Revenue reports
- Producing contractor remittances
- Refunding tenant deposits
- Resolving landlord/tenant queries
The ideal applicant will have strong Excel & Sage skills as well as being able to demonstrate high levels of accuracy. It would be well suited to an accounts manager, accounts assistant or book keeper looking to work in a similar position.
You must be a self-starter who is able to manage your own work load within strict deadlines and be confident working in a small, close knit team. Communicating with customers and suppliers is a vital part of this role so rapport building is key.
This is a part time, 20 hours per week role. There is flexibility with hours however you will be required to work Fridays.
