They are looking for experienced paraplanners with a proven track record in dynamic, fast paced financial services businesses to join the team.
Roles and responsibilities: The role of Paraplanner involves providing a high level of technical support to advisers, ensuring that all recommendations are technically accurate and provide ‘best advice’ for the client. The successful candidate will act as a ‘second pair of eyes’ for the adviser they support, identifying items which may affect the advice being given or the internal file review process. They will also be required to meet the key performance indicators (KPIs) specified by the company and to take responsibility for personal development- a robust framework and support network are available to all at the Company to enable individual training and development whilst enabling the team to maintain the technical knowledge required for the performance of this role. Accuracy and timeliness are key and whilst there is a team of administrators to assist, the successful candidate will obtain illustrations, fund fact sheets and all related Compliance documentation and prepare suitability/reason why letters/reports and recommendations. They will also package letters for clients, including all necessary application documentation to the highest standard. The role holder will be able to demonstrate a full working knowledge of the main Financial Services Products including Life, Personal Pensions and Investments. Ideally, they will have QCF level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or a willingness to work towards this, with support provided.
