Job Description

Our client, a company who specialise in transforming sites on behalf of property investors and corporate occupiers, into thriving business hubs, are looking to recruit a F/T Facilities Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will lead a small Operations and Maintenance Shift Team in support of the Park manufacturing and office facilities. If you have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar / related role after having completed a recognised apprenticeship or training programme and have qualifications to NVQ level 3 or equivalent in electrical/mechanical engineering, we would like to hear from you. Experience and operational knowledge of Building Services and specialist environment systems including the following would be a distinct advantage: Air Handling Systems Close control class 100-10,000 Clean Room Environments Primary & Secondary Chilled water systems Boilers & LTHW systems DI Water (18 Meg Ohm quality) systems Evaporative Cooling towers UPS Emergency generators Direct Expansion cooling systems Networked building management system (Trend ISN) Domestic water systems HV Electrical systems LV electrical systems Fire detection &Fire protection (Sprinklers) As a part of the technical service delivery team you will proactively support both reactive and PPM, tasks that are produced by the QFM ‘Facilities Management System’, which is also in-line with the OEM recommendations . As a part of a “two man” team you will be responsible for ensuring that you follow an end to end process that achieves the highest standard of equipment maintenance in full support of the clients’ expectations. Thereafter as a part of a larger team of technicians you will ensure that visibility of unfinished actions and production related issues are seamlessly passed on to your colleagues during the shift handover. Hours of Work Shift work, average of 41.125 hours per week (24/7 site)
