Your future duties and responsibilities
Working collaboratively with members of the Programme you will investigate, define and agree solutions to complex problems and suggest, discuss and put in place automation, best practice and use of new tools to improve the efficiency, architecture and usability of mission critical secure systems. You will be delivering solutions making systems more robust and scalable as well as finding ways to improve efficiency of investigation by putting in place automated monitoring, logging and alerting systems for high scale production systems.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Experience of System Integration, Linux / Windows, integrating a number of COTS products, Solid background in software development including scripting experience, software engineering and testing lifecycle are essential skills required for this role
Knowledge of Operational Control Centres for complex engineering systems, C#, Java, Python, Java Script, Cesium, MySql, PHP, Spark, Apache, Tomcat, Visio, HSQL DB, JQuery, DROOLS, Optiplanner etc, Linux, Spring, Dataminer or STK would be highly desirable
