Fantastic Senior Account Manager role for exciting company in Richmond - £55-60k plus bonus and benefits

Our exciting, fast-growing client is looking to recruit a Senior National Account Manager to join their vibrant, friendly UK head office in Richmond-upon-Thames.

This international company is a leader within their industry of the consumer goods market and offers a hard-working but fun-loving work environment.  This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced FMCG Account Manager to take on a new challenge in driving performance for key customers and partnering with the company’s biggest UK retail partner.

This is a full-time role working 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, offering a competitive salary of £55-60k, plus bonus, plus excellent benefits!

Role and responsibilities include:

  • Employ innovative sales and marketing solutions to deliver value, gross margin and volume targets to 2 of the company’s top 5 UK customers

  • Manage trade terms, agreement, price increases and promotional plans

  • Manage and maintain a bottom up plan and provide clarity to UK leadership team regarding performance vs expectations

  • Develop commercial solutions to issues and ensure stretching targets are set with clear rationales as to growth levers and execution plans

  • Lead the analysis of data sources and develop the account strategy

  • Deliver planned sales in line with the monthly forecast using data analysis and through collaborative work with the supply chain team

  • Determine Return on Investment of key activity and use commercial insight to influence future plans

  • Deliver plan for online and convenience to drive customer participation and weight of purchase

Person specification:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an Account Manager for a FMCG company

  • Account Management for grocery retail partners is desirable

  • Strong educational background, including university degree

  • Creative, strategic, and results-driven individual

  • Eye for detail and focus on driving growth

  • Strong communication skills
