This is a fantastic opportunity for a Marketing Consultant with experience of Paid Marketing to take up a role within a fantastic Nottingham City Centre based Design and Marketing agency. The Role

We are looking for candidates with great Paid Marketing experience, with a strong commercial awareness and strong industry knowledge. Responsible for completing all assigned tasks on time and to a high standard and for handling medium to large sized clients.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

Client Work

Responsible for maintaining a high standard in all aspects of assigned client work and management, including:

Batch
- Setup of web leasing sites including the hosting, template duplication, and onsite checks.
- Creation of a high standard advertising campaigns, within the remit of the client brief. These should include thorough keyword research, advert creation, intelligent use of negative keywords and of any other tools the advertising platform offers.
- Setup of products that fall within the Paid Marketing team such as Reviews.co.uk, remarketing and alternative paid marketing platforms.
- To ensure all new client work is completed to a high standard and signed off by their team leader.

Revisits
- Consistently review campaigns and be able to show how the campaign has improved due to the work completed.
- Ensure that the client is kept updated with anything that could affect their account, such as changes to budget and seasonal changes.
- Organise and send invoices for AdWords cost to the client.
- Ensure that statistical information is supplied to the AM and client where necessary.
- Provide critique on AM recommendations, and offer suggestions for improvement.
- Responsible for building successful working relationships with clients, leading to a good understanding of their business goals, requirements and limitations.
- Handle any problems or issues that arise with AMs, clients and other departments professionally and autonomously, or escalating them to a team leader or manager when necessary and to ensure a satisfactory outcome.
- Attend client meetings and present the work completed/represent the department’s skills.
- Work with relevant departments to analyse available data/information to increase performance, create strategies for client development, and guide the client in how to best utilise paid marketing services for their company.
- Ensure all assigned client work is completed to the required standard, by the agreed deadline, quality checked and all relevant people are informed of status and completion.

Research and Development
- Take personal responsibility for maintaining an up­-to-­date understanding of Paid Marketing industry, and assist with the development of the department by researching new techniques, theories, tools, processes and products, in line with the company and department objectives.
- Work as part of a team on department projects and ensure all assigned tasks are completed to the required standard and within the assigned time frame.

Mentoring
- ‘Buddy up’ with allocated new members of the team to provide initial guidance on company procedures and general working processes.
- Act as a mentor for all junior team members, being a point of contact for their questions/queries, providing advice and support when their team leader is not available.

Key Skills & Knowledge

Experience
- Minimum of 2 years Commercial experience of working with AdWords (or similar Paid Marketing platform)
- Proven performance of work (ROI on accounts, client retention & attitude)

Advanced Knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting solutions 
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent knowledge of Google Analytics
- Google AdWords Certified
- Ability to self manage workloads

Working Knowledge
- Hosting CSS and HTML

Basic Knowledge
- Internet Marketing / SEO Practices
- Webmaster Tools & other Google Products
