My award winning client, a finance company who prides themselves on responsible lending decisions and believes in treating customers fairly is looking for a Technical Business Analyst.

Role Overview: 
Technology and Change is a vital part of their business and has provided the platform for significant growth over the last 10 years. To support the continued growth, they are currently looking for a Technical Business Analyst/ IT Project Manager with experience working across the full software development lifecycle interacting with Business Change, Development, and QA Teams.

They have a mixture of new and legacy systems and the overall strategy is to improve business performance and efficiency with the introduction of new systems and technologies. You should have proven experience in gathering, analysing and validating functional requirements and the ability to manage project/change request deliverables. This position has a specific focus on working with web-based services, and .net and SQL based business solutions. 

The successful candidate will support the delivery of IT projects and bespoke implementation, supporting and facilitating the technical proposition throughout the full project life cycle. In addition, this role requires the Technical BA/PM to define deliverables and delivery resource requirements, provide risk decision support and working with QA team to lead functional and UAT testing efforts during delivery phase. 
The Technical BA/PM will be responsible in driving Agile based projects with Scrum therefore proven experiences in Scrum ceremonies and ability in managing Product Backlog Items are essential. 

The role will have two main area of focus:
Firstly, translate level business requirements into functional/non-functional requirements for development and delivery purposes
Secondly, project management of IT deliverables, which may include individual projects and change requests

Skills required for the role:
Proven experience of working in a delivery-focused technical business analysis/IT Project Manager role
In depth experience of functional/nonfunctional requirements definition, with ability to facilitate technical and system design workshops, communicate and negotiate technical options with project stakeholders and/or Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
Solid experience across the full software development life cycle
Must possess a track record of defining and delivering IT project deliverables, including the facilitation of testing and UAT, combined with leadership in supporting/resolving technical issues
Confident working with cross functional business area to manage and support project/request for change delivery across all levels
Strong time management skills, efficient at multi-tasking and able to work under pressure to deliver multiple deliveries on time, to a high standard
Self-organization and collaborative. Able to work alone or within an Agile Team, escalating/reporting risks and issues in timely manner
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritized work effectively

Essential Experience 
Come from technical background with both analysis and project management experience
Solid experience of delivery using Agile and Waterfall (or Hybrid) project management methodology and Scrum software development approach
Worked with web services technologies 

Desirable Experience
Finance industry and motor trade exposure 
Experience in dealing with infrastructure projects
