IT Infrastructure Analyst – Permanent - based in Newport Pagnell
Purpose of Role:
Provision of IT infrastructure support across multiple sites across Europe. Whilst the role is based at the head office in Newport Pagnell it is likely that a small proportion of traveling will be necessary to support operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing 1st and 2nd line Helpdesk support to all sites around the UK and Ireland
- Work closely with our IT support partners, managing call logs, training them and ensuring suitable access, controls and security
- Maintaining Local Area Networks across all sites
- Maintaining Configuration Management Database
- Diagnosing hardware/software faults and solving technical problems
- Monitor operational systems for early identification of issues to minimise business impact
- Work closely with 3rd party suppliers for support and to resolve calls
- Work closely with other members of the business for support and to resolve calls
- Managing and maintaining all equipment, including Hosted IP telephony, mobile phones, tablets, laptops, Desktop PCs and HP Thin Client terminals, network switches, wireless access points, and managed print solution
- IT System Access Request fulfilment
- Provide management updates on service desk call logs, project status, priorities, plans and opportunities
- Providing out of hours support over weekends and after hours
- Any other project as requested by management

Essential Skills:

- A+, N+ and MSCE or Equivalent Certifications
- Network configuration Skills including switches, AP’s and VLAN’s
Desirable Skills:
- ITIL Foundation Level Certified
- Active Directory administration experience
- Microsoft Networks including services such as DNS, DHCP
- Experience using any of: JD Edwards, Board, OnBase, AccessPay, RAM, Lotus Notes, O365
Hours of work:
8.45am – 4:30pm (Monday - Friday) with 30 Minutes for Lunch.
On call rota 1 week in every 3.
