Job Description
This is a new role where you will strategically identify, build and develop a cost effective competitive and stable supply chain, providing a food and beverage turnkey service to this growing restaurant chain across Europe and the Middle East. Based either in France, the Netherlands or the UK, key responsibilities will be distributor and supplier management, improving key commercial outcomes and the successful implementation of new menus across the restaurant network.
You’ll identify, implement and manage the relationship with several distribution partners to ensure the restaurant network receives a cost effective and competitive service, continuously seeking opportunities to improve efficiencies and control costs.
Understanding the current supplier and contractual status quo, you’ll support the restaurant network by identifying opportunities to improve gross profit, renegotiating costs and sharing best practice across the network.
Working with the UK brand and menu development teams, you’ll identify, source and secure the right ingredients, at competitive prices to deliver gross margin and the customer proposition. Additionally, you’ll own the supplier approval process for existing and new suppliers in line with brand guidelines.
You’ll have experience of branded food and beverage procurement and supply chain management, working in a growing market place with a fast-paced program of restaurant openings at a pan European level.
You’ll be planned, analytical with the ability to work cross functionally and manage stakeholders across the business. With high levels of energy and tenacity, you’ll demonstrate a real desire to succeed, communicating clearly to all levels across the network. With exceptional knowledge of a quality, stable supply base, you’ll be at ease negotiating ensuring the best service, price and quality to the restaurant network.
This role will require significant travel across Europe and the Middle East
