Working as a key part of the Learning Experience Design team you'll have the opportunity to work with every new customer of our client's. You'll get to work with global giants, charities, startups and everything in between, across every conceivable industry.
The role involves working directly with our customer' technical teams to understand, scope and implement integrations between the client, customer applications and other third-party applications via our suite of REST APIs (JSON).
You'll configure our client's SSO and provide guidance and technical support to our customers on how to enable their environment to federate to the client's via SSO. As well as triage and resolve SSO related issues.
Reporting directly to the Head of Learning Experience Design you'll work closely with the Experience Designers and Project Management office.
This role will be of interest to candidates currently working in a junior developer role or working as part of a federation team looking for a more senior self-sufficient role within an exciting and rapidly growing company.
The role requires excellent communications skills with the ability to credibly discuss technical issues with senior stakeholders
Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce technical documentation when required
Previous experience in triaging technical issues is desirable
Previous experience working directly with customer security and IT contacts to scope and implement SaaS based application integrations
Excellent understanding and experience of browser and mobile based technologies and SaaS services
Experience documenting and understanding user flows and sequence diagrams
Hands-on experience of setting up and configuring SAML based SSO connections (ADFS, OKTA, PING Identity etc) from scratch
Ability to diagnose SSO SAML and Oauth based SSO issues and use of related tracing tools (Fiddler etc)
Demonstrable understanding of REST API's and JSON syntax and use of Postman or related tools to create and test API requests
Hands-on experience of using middleware (Boomi, Mulesoft etc.) to support business process flows between systems would be beneficial
Ability to prioritise, multi-task, and perform effectively under pressure
Willingness to travel where necessary (UK and Globally)
