Job Description
The main management priorities for this role are:
•Ensure compliance of QHSE regulations
•Overall responsibility of employees within the plant
•Leading the operation in producing products to fulfil customer requirements
•Installing a culture that exhibits continuous improvement regarding Safety, Quality, Cost Delivery
Further tasks to include:
- Assume leadership role for Operational Strategy Development
- Develop and implement optimisation systems and processes with emphasis on strategic planning, process
- improvement, problem resolution
- Responsible for capital expenses and operating budgets in all operating areas
- Manage projects in cooperation with operational excellence functions (Q/ Lean, Mfg Strategy)
- Implement initiatives to maximise productivity and net profit
- Ensure standards for product quality, equipment and operational performance
- Continuously strive for overall operations efficiency in the areas of operational procurement, inventory
- management, distribution, shipping and order fulfilment
- Ensure programs, policies, procedures, processes and activities are compliant with local laws and regulations
Your profile and qualifications:
- The successful candidate has at least 5 years of relevant chemical manufacturing experience & has profound
- know how in Operational and Supply Chain Management
- Profound know how in chemical assembly processes and production technologies
- Applies a systematic approach and drives utilisation of ERP system (SAP)
- Technical skills in lean manufacturing and process improvement, quality management, procurement, freight and
- distribution
- HSE and Project experience
- Monitors and checks work to meet quality standards; demonstrates a high level of care and thoroughness; checks
- work to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Demonstrate international management and leadership experience in complex matrix organisation
- Understand of and capability to manage production based on KPIs
- Candidates must hold a full and valid UK Licence and have the Right to Work in the UK
